Active Power Load Device
AT series active power load device consists of multiple pure resistor elements, switching control units, cooling system and protection devices. It provides adjustable resistive load with power factor close to 1.0 for AC/DC power supply, generator, transformer, UPS and inverter testing. Widely used for generator factory tests, transformer load loss measurement, UPS aging tests and data center diesel generator load bank exercises.
Application
AT series active power load device is a pure resistive load that converts electrical energy into heat, simulating actual active power consumption of electrical equipment. Main applications include:
Diesel/gas generator factory tests and periodic maintenance load bank tests
Transformer load loss measurement and temperature rise tests
UPS/EPS performance and aging tests
Variable frequency power supply, inverter and shore power supply load tests
Data center diesel generator load bank exercises
MV/LV distribution system active load simulation
EV charger and energy storage PCS active power tests
Marine, railway and mining mobile power station load tests
